If an evacuation order (level 4) or higher is issued in Shiga Prefecture, we will initiate the Emergency Contact Procedure to confirm the safety of JET Participants in Shiga Prefecture.
In an emergency, the ALT and CIR PA should be contacted by email with your phone number and we will work to contact you by telephone as soon as possible. We will also attempt the emergency contact information we have on file to verify your safety.
CLAIR will also contact participants in applicable prefecture(s). If you have not received a Safety Confirmation email, you can log onto the system via the link above to confirm your safety.
Remain calm and follow all orders issued by local government. If a Level 4 warning is issued, do not delay and EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY to your nearest evacuation shelters.
